At Rip Curl Hot Sale, we want you to be completely stoked with your gear. If something isn’t quite right with your order, we’ll help you get it sorted as smoothly as catching a perfect wave.
Our Return Policy
You can return most items within 15 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be:
- In original condition with tags attached
- Unworn and unwashed
- In original packaging with all accessories
Note on Swimwear: For hygiene reasons, swimwear (including wetsuits) can only be returned if the original hygiene liner is intact and the item hasn’t been worn.
How to Return an Item
Follow these simple steps to return your item:
- Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with your return request (see template below).
- Get Approval: We’ll email you a Return Authorization Number and instructions within 2 business days.
- Pack It Up: Securely package your return with the original packaging and include your order confirmation.
- Ship It Back: Send your return to our warehouse (address below) using a trackable shipping method.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we can’t be responsible for lost returns.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
- Shipping fees are non-refundable (except for incorrect/damaged items)
- You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
Exchanges
Need a different size or color? Here’s how exchanges work:
- Follow the same return process above
- In your email, clearly state the item you want to exchange for
- We’ll process your exchange once we receive the original item
- If the new item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference
For faster service, we recommend placing a new order for the item you want and returning the original item separately.

Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:
- Swimwear with removed hygiene liners
- Worn or washed clothing/accessories
- Personalized or custom items
- Clearance or final sale items (will be marked as such)
